Specializing in reconstructive surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder, with a special interest and Harvard fellowship training in Total Joint Replacement. Dr. Kozinn uses a variety of minimally invasive approaches to accomplish your surgery and speed your recovery. Dr. Kozinn was trained at the famous "Hospital for Special Surgery", the number one orthopedic teaching hospital in the world. He is also a master of arthroscopic surgery, and uses special tools, such as the Holmium Laser and "thermal" heat probes to minimize swelling and speed your return to normal activities. Dr. Kozinn is one of the very few surgeons in Arizona who is skilled at the new minimally invasive Direct Anterior approach for Total Hip Replacement. Another special research interest is muscle sparing knee reconstruction using Partial Knee Replacements to speed your recovery.

Specializing in Sports Medicine, fracture care, joint replacement, and general orthopedic care. Dr. Evangelista completed an additional year of fellowship training at the University of Arizona where he cared for the University varsity athletes and was Attending Surgeon and teacher to the residents at the U of A trauma center. Dr. Evangelista has a special interest in complex arthroscopic shoulder reconstructions. Dr. Evangelista also prides himself on being available for your more urgent orthopedic needs related to acute trauma and fracture care, including reconstruction of severe ligament injures from sports accidents and motor vehicle trauma.
