Tom Teeter   (see his video after joint replacement : anterior total hip replacement)

A hip replacement is a surgical procedure in which a hip joint that is worn out or injured and painful is replaced with an artificial joint. The surgery will benefit you by reducing hip pain, increasing leg strength and providing easier movement. Your surgery will take about one to two hours on average. An incision is made and the damaged joint is removed. The surface of your old socket is smoothed and the new socket is put into the pelvis. The new ball and stem component is inserted into the head of your thigh bone and then joined with the socket… Anterior Hip patients can be done as a same day outpatient surgery at Scottsdale Osborn by dr.
